Dr. Jaswinder S. Bains

Dr. Jaswinder Bains earned his Ph.D. in Biology from Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar, India in 1991.  He moved to Calgary in 1992, and worked as research associate in the department of neuroscience, faculty of medicine, University of Calgary. Later, he worked as senior research associate at the department of Ophthalmology University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC.  Dr. Bains transitioned to Optometry, after graduating from New England College of Optometry, Boston in 2001. He has worked as sub-lease Optometrist with Lens Crafters until July 2016. 

Dr. Florence George

Dr. Florence George earned her BSc (Opt) from the University of Benin, Nigeria in 1985, and then OD (Doctor of Optometry) in 1998. She worked at the Ophthalmology Clinic of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital. She then moved on to her private practice. Dr. George moved to Canada in 2005 and enrolled in the University of Waterloo for the International Optometric Bridging Program (IOBP) from where she challenged the Canadian Standard Assessment in Optometry (CSAO) Board Examination and registered with Alberta College of Optometrists in 2009.
